White on White on White

Perfection. Cleanliness. Honesty. New. Fresh. Pure. Luxury. Natural

Oh how ever so sweetly do these words describe the word white? White swan. Snow white. White pearls. Do you see where I am going with this? No matter how you look at it, white is a color that I truly believe must be incorporated into at least one interior space (yes, white is a color). Why white? For starters, white creates a clean looking space. It is simple, not busy. Because dust, dirt, and stains are extremely visible on white, it essentially forces you to stay clean. I don’t know about you, but I could use more discipline like this in my daily life. Secondly, white adds luxury and comfort to a space. Believe it or not, white is a statement color. Finally, white is just relaxing and soothing. It never goes out of style. It is classic.

These beautiful interiors are filled with white, creme, beige, and the like. Who says white has to be boring? Not this designer! See for yourself! I dare you to jump on the white on white (on white) bandwagon. You won’t be disappointed.

This kitchen is stunning, if I do say so myself. The white cabinets on white counter top on white walls on white ceiling compliment each other. The height of the space also gives it that extra wow-factor. I don’t think I would have chosen any other color.

This bath is just ‘ahh’, right? Did you hear my relaxing sigh in that ‘ahh’? The white soaking pedestal tub is the statement piece and nothing else is needed. Enough said.

This dining room has a rustic glamour twist to it, wouldn’t you agree? See how simple this space looks yet pairing white fabric with the natural tones of wood tames it down even more? The chandelier is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t seriously dine in here every day.

How about this pure office? If you look closely you will notice that it actually is all open storage and all papers, binders, and containers are visible. By using the white on white color palette, this office doesn’t look cluttered by the least bit. Fresh flowers keep it in season year round.

This relaxing retreat is just beautiful to look at. Why not go bold in the bedroom with white?

I am typically not a fan of painted brick, but something about this foyer does wonders for me. It is gorgeous. A done deal.

Don’t think white is for you? Well, even if you have pets and children, you can still have a beautiful white space! The slipcovers in this space look absolutely gorgeous. And the best is? They are easily removable and washable. Yes, you can have white!
