I am so sorry that I have been MIA for the past three (or more) days. I have been up the wah-zooy with new projects and so much more but I have been able to crank out a lot of work to free up my schedule a bit and I am so glad to be back with you today!
On Tuesday, I spent the evening in NW DC at the local Ace Hardware (on 5th Street) for Ladies Night. That’s right, hundreds of women came into the store for home improvement help, raffles, prizes, food, beverages, and great deals! There were about 25 vendors at the event helping women with their home improvement needs. From gardening to window treatments to paint to key making, and everything in between. I had the honor to be a featured designer, alongside Sarah, owner of Urban Referrals, a local contractor referral company right here in DC (it is a free service to you, so go check it out!)
The night was a lot of fun and I was very excited to help out many women with their decoorating and color needs. I put together a little takeaway card that explained a few ‘do’s and don’ts when it comes to color. If you missed the event, I am so sorry, but no fear. Today I wanted to share my 5 simple Color Dos and Don’ts, when it comes to Small Spaces.
