High Point roundup: Side tables galore!

October 26, 2012 · 0 comments

One of the easiest way to spice up a space is to add a side table. There are a variety of options out there, it all depends on what look you are trying to achieve. Some side tables offer plenty of storage with drawers or doors while others offer display space for books and special items.

A few weeks back when I was at High Point (I still am recovering from all the new and exciting things I saw), one thing that caught my eye was the variety of side tables. I couldn’t help myself but snap as many photos as possible and share with you. Please note that all items shown here are from showrooms that are to the trade only. If anything catches your eye please email me for additional information and pricing.

Take these sidetables from the Four Hands showroom. They can double as extra seating or even stackable sidetables. The natural wood look is perfect for a winter cabin or to create a casual feeling paired with sophsticated furnishings.

Or how about these beauties, also from the Four Hands showroom.

Every space needs a pedestal side table. These are only a few variations I saw at Market.

I am a sucker for wrought iron + glass sidetables. This collection is from the Charleston Forge showroom. The best part is that the tables are fairly customizable, from different types of glass to different colors of wrought iron and everything in between.

I also was very intrigued by the puzzle piece side tables that can also act as coffee tables. These puzzle piece wooden side tables can be ordered in one of 84 finishes through Century Furniture. How fun would it be to mix and match finishes?

What did you think of the puzzle piece side tables we posted on our Facebook page while at Market? I absolutely loved those!

Of course, I also loved the various nesting table combinations. I couldn’t believe the use of textures, colors, shapes, and sizes that were used to create beautiful side tables. The nailheads used on these tables creates a luxe look.

I could definitely see these nesting tables in a Bachelor Pad or a masculine office, couldn’t you?

Mixing the surface finishes adds a great touch to these nesting tables. I love the shape as well.

And then there were a lot of other side tables that were just plain fun and adventurous!

There you have it, my favorite side table picks from Market. What do you think? Does anything catch your eye?
